COVID-19 and Children

Based on available evidence, children do not appear to be at higher risk for COVID-19 than adults. Wash hand often with soap and water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.

Avoid close contact, put a social distance of at least 1.5 m apart from others.

Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.

Put the mask over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin.
