SWAN SafeDrive Subscription form
Terms and Conditions
The undersigned Policyholder, confirms having duly obtained the consent of the primary driver for registering them as such under the SWAN SafeDrive programme (in case the primary driver is not the policyholder) and agrees to the following general terms and conditions governing the SWAN SafeDrive Programme (the Programme) :
- 1. The policyholder undertakes to keep the telematics tag safe and in good working condition and to use it solely for the intended purpose in the designated vehicle only.
- 2. The policyholder agrees not to withdraw from the Programme within a period of 6 months following subscription.
- 3. The telematics tag should be returned to SWAN within a period of 2 weeks in case the policyholder withdraws from the Programme or cancels their motor insurance policy or chooses not to renew their motor insurance policy with SWAN when the policy expires.
- 4. In case the telematics tag is lost, stolen, or damaged, the policyholder is required to notify SWAN and a replacement fee of Rs 1,000 will be applicable before a new tag is provided.
- 5. In case of policy cancellation, the policyholder will automatically be excluded from the Programme and the tag should be returned to SWAN within a period of 2 weeks after the policy is cancelled.
- 6. SWAN reserves the right to claim a fee of Rs 1,000 for the tag in case it is not returned either following withdrawal from the programme or following cancellation or non-renewal of the motor insurance policy under which the policyholder subscribed to the Programme.
- 7. SWAN reserves the right to use any unused benefits and rewards earned by the policyholder under the Programme to offset any fees due to SWAN under the Programme.
- 8. In case of malfunction, the telematics tag should be returned to SWAN and a new tag will be provided in case the problem cannot be fixed. No new tag will be provided unless the defective tag is returned to SWAN first.
